WebJul 2, 2024 · With my Ecodiesel I had a great OTS engine and trans tune from GDE, they were pretty mild tunes as far as power, but what they did for drive ability/fun factor, and longevity was awesome. Unfortunately it seems like everything I look into for the 2024 6.7 is all high dollar custom stuff.

CTT will no longer support them though if you wanted revised shift points, fueling, supporting mod changes, etc. And who knows, maybe you'll love the CTT tunes and your truck will respond well to them.

I believe the hp increase is for real good power under a load. You want see any fuel mileage increase with that tune. Timing is where you will see a increase in fuel mileage. I wouldn't increase IPW more than 20% towing and keep everything less then 50mm3 stock.

WebJul 30, 2024 · This truck has almost half million miles and the rpms would hang pretty bad when revved up and with the Optimal welding tune it would rev quick and fall just as quick, stock would hang in the mid rpm range and take a couple seconds to idle down. Ill be getting the switch in a few days and well see how it all works out.
