WebEspecially given that the Engineers and Doctors can take care of the workload of ethics. Ethics is tied to Engineering (in my view) almost entirely based on the fact that you can be held liable if you sign the schematic or make a decision elsewhere. You can't sue the investment bank for your losses because it's assumed risk. WebEngineers shall not promote their own interest at the expense of the dignity and integrity of the profession. Engineers shall treat all persons with dignity, respect, fairness and without discrimination. Engineers shall at all times strive to serve the public interest.
