If for example you cut a tree and the wood is on the surface they can still use that without any issue unless you have a door, burrow, drawbridge etc something blocking their way then they can't. WebA dwarf who goes into a fell mood, on the other hand, promptly goes out and murders the nearest dwarf, butchers the corpse, and makes their artifact out of the victim's skin or bones.
