When dry, the citrus solvent (toxic) is completely removed from the finish (so the remaining finish is good-ole 100% food safe tung oil) Does this sound right? Because Pure Tung Oil is a high solid oil, it does not penetrate dense wood well on its own. We recommend cutting (thinning) the oil with a natural solvent called Citrus Solvent.
